While in the midst of a kindhearted,caring team who truly support each another; my daughter has learned the value of dedicated practice, how to accept constructive criticism, and how to perform with confidence. Once very shy, this experience has considerably improved her self-confidence.
Being on the 8 Count Dance Competition Team has truly enhanced her sense of responsability and character.

Being a part of the 8 Count Dance Company has been an incredible experience for my daughter. The girls on her team truly help and support each other and that has lead to a huge increase in her self-confidence and self -esteem. Her teachers have provided quality instruction that has helped her greatly improve her technique, but most importantly it has been done in a fun , supportive and encouraging enviroment. As a member of the 8 Count Dance Team, my daughter has been able to further develop her love of dance,and has been encouraged to dream big and unlock all of the possabilities that exist within herself.

My dauughter, Shannon, took hip-hop and tap at another studio. The dance schedule didn't fit our schedule, so we checked into 8 Count the first year it opened. At that time they didn't have either class so Shannon switched to jazz and lyrical. The first night of class, Shannon was extremely nervous because she didn't know any of the steps, terminology, etc. Tara encouraged her before class and the next day called to see how she was doing!! By Tara taking the time to check on her impressed me as a parent and it left a lasting impression on Shannon that Tara cared about her!
This year when classes started, Shannon came dancing out of class with smiles saying "I love this Studio, I am so glad I switched"!!
The kids at this studio mean something to Tara and the other teachers.

We have been so happy at 8 Count Dance! I have three kids that attend there, two of them are on the competition team! We have been at numerous other studios in the past and we have been happiest at 8 Count Dance! It is a studio where Tara and the other dance teachers put the kids first! They focus on having fun and teamwork while still incorporating the importance of dance etiquette and technique! It has been so refreshing to see that the owner not only cares about teaching dance, but focuses on teaching them to be leaders, giving back to the community and dares them to dream big! I would highly recommend 8 Count Dance to anyone! No matter what their age!

8 Count Dance exudes class and professionalism. It is clear that Tara has a love for dance, but greater than that is her love for teaching and dedication to her students. She encourages them in their dance, but more importantly she fosters a wonderful sense of self esteem, as well as a respect for themselves and each other. My daughter has said many times that Tara has taught her so much more than just dance steps and technique! All of the teachers in the studio are top notch and provide excellent instruction. I am amazed that the studio is so organized. As a parent with a hectic schedule, I appreciate the fact that we are always well informed of classes, schedules, and events. 8 Count Dance is a positive environment that teaches children to be a champion in life as well as dance! I am so grateful that my daughter has an opportunity to be a part of this wonderful studio. I would encourage anyone searching for a studio to give 8 Count Dance a try – you won’t be disappointed!

My in-laws were so impressed at the meeting last night! They absolutely love you and the studio. We were hoping to finally find a teacher and studio that was fabulous and we have definitely found that with you and 8 count! Our daughter is so beyond excited to be doing the mini competition team and loves to practice her dance at home .
